Turns out I'm a complete badass, my scooter officially rides at at least 10mph if I really push hard enough... and also go downhill.

February 8th

Time for Bianca Del Rio! She was fabulous, as we knew she would be. Utterly hysterical, one shady lady.

February 7th

Here we are playing bowling. 1 all, but he thoroughly smashed me playing Rummy. He's never even played before!

On the plus, I did slay at playing pool, so it evened out pretty well.

January 6th

I got to see this beautiful human! He's come to Cardiff to see Bianca Del Rio with me. Love this boy.

February 5th - NSFW

A continuation of yesterday evening! After walking Sean back to his car so he could take off his stripper heels, we found this classy object on the floor. Nice.

February 4th

It's finally the day to see La Cage Au Folles!

What can I say? It was amazing. It was everything I thought it would be and more. The only downside was this annoying as hell couple sat in front of us, talking and kissing all the way through the first act. After being bitched at by the row, they moved!

Double whammy on pictures again today - straight after the show, I went to see my boys for Todor's birthday, which was awesome. Made even better by Sean and Crusty in drag!

February 3rd

This day, I decided to play Hatoful Boyfriend after having bought it in the January sale. It's truly bizarre, but I really enjoyed it and kind of fell in love with the characters, even though they're birds.

My favourite was Kazuaki, the mathematics teacher.

Here we are at Kong's in Cardiff. It's pretty cool having an old-timey arcade place on my doorstep!

Februrary 1st

I made it all the way to February!

Before heading to the hospital again, and then back home, mum and I went to Nandos for a nice one-on-one lunch. Love her!

January 31st

I took this picture on the bus up towards the hospital. I chose this one as it was so bizarre to see mathematics on a window instead of inane scribbles.

January 30th

Here I am, back home again. This thing is the bane of my life, it had me tucked up all small on a tiny seat in the train full of other people with a lot of luggage. I think I accidentally smacked someone with it too. Sorry!

January 29th

For the first time in ages, Alex, Ivan and I were hanging in the kitchen. A catch-up over tea and maltesers never went amiss.

January 28th

So as it turns out the best day of the month was followed by the unluckiest day of the month.

• Misunderstand conversation and go to a different train station
• Theatre show is actually next week
• Drop cream down myself
• Decide to go to the cinema, which becomes packed out to the masses while we were having coffee
• Couldn't find Anff a belt
• It rained
• Friend was hungover and couldn't see me
• Talk and Surf had events on so no League for me
• The bus took ages to deliver me to Carmen

What an unlucky day! I had a great evening with Carmen though, so I'm calling worth.

January 27th

This day was probably the best in January. I was supposed to hang with Ben at Talk and Surf, but plans changed so I had an excurision to Llantwit Major with my boys.

Good times, good tunes, a few games of pool and a 3AM conversation always makes the best evenings.

After work, the gang and I decided to go to the cinema and play some Resident Evil. Turns out I have no focus for horror games, but Passengers was pretty good.

January 25th

Another hospital post. This day was quite good. Nanny Goodgrief was in good spirits, so we did a crossword together. She said she's lacking the hand strength to form legible letters, so I wrote with my left hand while rubbing her feet.

January 24th

I went to the hospital again, but took a trip to see Nan Kelly before hand. I don't think there's many people I love more than Nanny Una.

January 23rd

I was here at the hospital today. Nan Finnigan isn't doing well, but she's being very well looked after and she's had lots of visitors.

I'd be so bored if I was in ill health. There's not even any squares on the ceiling to count.

January 22nd

I've been making some time up at work so I get to go home early. Not too bad a trip, though it did take 20 minutes to move the tiny dot on google maps just down the road.

January 21st

Another boring post, but I'm keeping my good habits and brought something to work.

I'm actually really surprised this didn't give me food poisoning, because I bought the chicken the day before and forgot to put it in the fridge.

January 20th

Today marks the first day in the year I had breakfast, lunch and dinner that I made myself. It sounds like nothing, but it'sreally quite an achievement.

This one was actually suggested by Vince, on discussing what I should have for dinner. Cheers, bud!

January 19th

I never have a Thursday off but where I swapped my day off, I got to hang with my buddies!

Simon managed to ruin a pizza from keeping the plastic on the bottom, but we had a few good games of Avalon and pandemic. We won!!

January 18th

While I was in town today, I found these for 5p each in Poundland! I initially went in looking for a teapot to match my cup but this is a bit of a bargain!

I went back for a second set for Liam Kirby, it seemed like the kind of thing his girlfriend would like.

January 17th

This day sucked. I'm an angry crier so being frustrated left me a bit tearful.

Luckily, Simon, Elise and Mirchi's were on hand to cheer me up.

January 16th

I spent my evening with Mel after a long overdue catchup. Apparently she gets hangry, I thought she was about to order the entire menu in Yo Sushi!

January 15th

Curse the Playstation sale, curse it!

I wound up buying a bunch of games, no telling how long I'll be hooked on the PS for, I was supposed to go running!

January 14th

Today's cooking adventure went marginally better. It's KFC with a load of cheese and sour cream. Duffield added cumin to the mix which to me tastes of curry, but I still ate it. I probably wouldn't have added it but it was still good!

January 13th

So... I got up at 6:45 trying to follow this recipe my Team Leader not so subtly hinted at... aaaaaand it was pretty woeful.

I binned it, because heaven help me I'm not subjecting anyone to eating that, but it's not going to stop me from perfecting it. I'll probably tweak the recipe into oblivion though, pretty much nothing went right. Just realised I made it on Friday the 13th. In not superstitious, but maybe it was a sign.

January 12th

Excitement incoming, I got my tickets for Bianca Del Rio's Not Today Satan tour!

I can't wait! This year is going to be my theatre/entertainments year.

January 11th

Today marks a whole week since my haircut. I wish it would grow faster, it's terrible what a dodgy cut can do to your confidence. At least I can be cute in a cartoon.

January 10th

I got my present from Ivan today! He picked it out especially and joined it with a bunch of chocolates.)))

Reasons Ivan is awesome:

• Whatever he has, he'll always share it with me. Food, wine, tea, always shares!
• He's introduced me to a whole range of new foods. He's the reason I now have everything with a big dollop of sour cream.
• We can hang out in the kitchen and talk crap all night. #ScottyDoesntKnow

January 9th

For the first time in ages, I went back to Urban Tap House  Tiny Rebel for board games. Here's a picture of all of us losing the will to live during an exceptionally slow game of Dead of Winter.

January 8th

After work, I went round to Elise's to play some games. Simon and I don't usually play Risk due to intense rage at losing dice rolls, but we decided to play. I managed to take South America, which crashed and I lost everything before my turn, then the same again with Africa. I was not a happy bunny.

In other news, it turns out I'm woeful at stealth horror games. Pro tip: don't try to stab someone who has a massive axe.

Work was work, nothing too unusual, but I went round to a friend's house for a catch up and a glass  bottle of wine.

I managed to lose playing scrabble because I was helping everyone else. Honey isn't in this picture as he prefers to generally be behind the camera.

January 5th

After work, I met Ben for a few drinks, where we had a grand old time talking crap. A lot of gin and a few portions of chips later, it's time for my first scoot home of 2017. The damn thing still won't fold.

January 4th

Today I got my hair cut. It was cut far shorter than I wanted it, I told the hairdresser I'd like to keep it feminine but now I've got to make a conscious effort to look like a woman.

On the plus side, I've got brilliant friends, so even if I look weird I've got these amazing people by my side.

Simon opened his Christmas present today, he's chuffed to bits with his gundam.

January 3rd

Yesterday's picture is my home-made curry with my nan's recipe who is unfortunately not well and won't be getting better. I remember calling her up one day while at university completely forgetting the recipe for the spice mix. It comes out perfectly every time.

Spice mix:

• 1 tsp garam gasala
• 1 tsp ground corriander
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tsp turmeric
• 1 tsp garlic
• 1/2 tsp chili powder
• 1 bay leaf
• Salt

January 2nd

January 2nd's picture comes from dinner with Elise. Elise fancied steak so we went to go shopping which was cheap as chips!

"You couldn't have got cheaper meat at a 2p brothel!"

Our dinner was brilliant. We managed to pick up a 25p veggie bake that we accidentally burnt. Whoops.

 

Overview + January 1st!

It's my current goal to take a picture of somrthing going on in my life every day to turn it into a picture book at the very end of the year to look back and reflect on.

This is of me and the guys! We brought in the new year at Bunker. Ivan and his friend Dennis aren't in the picture, they're probably at the bar, considering they were sinking drinks like you've never seen. I think he should have bought like ten, because the pair of them barely moved.
